What You'll Do :

• Lead the development of innovative features and enhancements, balancing rapid delivery with key considerations for scalability, reliability, and sustainability.
• Architect the application for a distributed platform, ensuring it remains performant, secure, and accessible for learners everywhere.
• Steer technical direction by facilitating design discussions, assessing trade-offs, and introducing frameworks that enhance engineering quality.
• Mentor engineers at various levels, offering guidance, conducting work reviews, and promoting technical excellence across the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to align technical solutions with customer needs.
• Oversee incident response and operations by leading on-call rotations and helping teams navigate complex challenges.
• Contribute to fostering a world-class engineering culture in a remote-first setting.
• Drive meaningful outcomes with autonomy, while prioritizing impact and quality results.

What You Should Have :

Compensation for this position ranges from $163,900 to $245,900 per year. This reflects the minimum and maximum amounts we believe are fair at the time of this posting; actual compensation may vary based on several factors. This position also includes potential for bonuses and is eligible for a robust suite of benefits.

This is a remote role within the United States, with the possibility of occasional travel for company events. Candidates must reside and work in the US during their employment and must notify Articulate of any address change immediately.
