Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Demonstrate general knowledge of accounting terminology and principles. Work with various technology solutions, including Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, and Paychex. Adhere to financial policies and company guidelines while performing accounting functions. Pursue or hold a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Plan to obtain or currently hold a CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification. Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Maintain effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external teams. Apply problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting processes.
Century Group is excited to partner with our client, a fast-growing company in the healthcare industry, to help them find a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join their Phoenix-area team! Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Process accounts payable and ensure proper management of backup documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and administer provider compensation methods.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general accounting accounts on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with third-party revenue cycle teams by providing necessary backup documentation.
- Gather and prepare financial information for quarterly and annual audit processes.
