We are looking for a new member of our Finance and Office team who will apply their strong accounting acumen to keeping our company numbers and budgets on track with unwavering accuracy. In this role, you will play a key role in managing the accounting operations that support both our domestic and international entities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and global partners to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all jurisdictions. You will report to the head of Finance.

This is a fully onsite position in Redwood City.

In this role you will :

• Be responsible for monthly,  quarterly and yearly consolidation of domestic and  international entities in accordance with US GAAP, including foreign currency translation and elimination of intercompany transactions.
• Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and transfer pricing compliance across multiple countries and legal entities.
• Lead general ledger close activities, prepare journal entries, and ensure timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and internal management reports with clarity and precision for executive leadership and board presentations.
• Support global audit processes and statutory reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors and international finance teams.
• Design and enhance accounting procedures, controls, and reporting tools to scale with the company’s global growth.
• Partner with Clinical and Science teams, Operations, and R&D to ensure financial alignment and accurate tracking (e.g., clinical trial accruals, R&D tax credits, etc.).
• Support the optimization of ERP systems (e.g., QBO, NetSuite or similar) to enable automation and accurate global reporting.
