The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the vital work of maintaining diagnostic tools which directly influences patient health and well-being.

This position is part of the Service Organization located in San Antonio TX and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Field Service Team reporting to the District Supervisor and responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment. This position services the Chemistry Urinalysis and Microbiology Platforms. In this role you will have the opportunity to :

• Complete troubleshooting installation validation preventative maintenance modifications and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Provide excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulters customers along with technical training on products.
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner ordering repair parts and adhering to cycle times and Travel throughout the district territory experiencing all the various places our instrumentation is utilized.

The essential requirements of the job include :

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements :

This position requires to 10 - 20 % overnight travel.

Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to lift move or carry equipment lower and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted (tools replacement parts consumables etc.). Candidates must be able to frequently bend stoop twist turn crouch / crawl push / pull and sit / stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must also be able to reach at above and below shoulder level flex / extend neck have good hand and finger dexterity.

The hourly range for this role is $33.00 - $36.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
