Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Process and document all incoming and outgoing shipments using inventory management systems.
• Scheduling and making the needed arrangements for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Resolve shipment issues by communicating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams regarding delays or damaged goods.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, packing, and organizing freight.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels based on company SOP’s.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse associates, drivers, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
