Job summary
Growing aerospace company is seeking an experienced shipping / receiving clerk to ship and receive materials, tools, supplies, and other items pertaining to the aerospace manufacturing industry. Candidate may be required to submit a Motor Vehicle Report to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities / daily tasks
- Use computer applications to generate labels and schedule pickups.
- Maintain stock of shipping supplies
- Use shipping / receiving equipment as needed (pallet jack,fork lift, tape gun, etc.)
- Wrap and package product when necessary.
- Receive materials, tools, supplies, and other items using company’s ERP system.
- Inspect received product for damages or issues caused by mishandling or incorrectly processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the company handbook.
- Complete other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
Relation of the position to others in the company
The shipping / receiving clerk works directly with our purchasing and production team in shipping and receiving in all necessary items pertaining to the company.
