- A Shift; Sunday- Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6am-6pm
- B Shift; Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday 6am-6pm
- M- Shift Monday to Friday 8 am to 5pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment, supporting shipping and receiving operations, moving materials throughout the facility, and ensuring customer orders are packaged accurately and safely. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, follows established procedures, and is committed to quality and safety.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare finished products for domestic and international shipment.
- Pick, verify, package, label, and stage customer orders according to work instructions.
- Inspect products for damage or quality concerns prior to shipment.
- Operate sit-down forklifts to safely move pallets, finished goods, and production materials throughout the facility.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to transport inventory and materials.
- Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Build pallets and secure shipments using stretch wrap, banding, foam, and other protective packaging materials.
- Print and apply shipping labels using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners.
- Support inventory control through cycle counting and material verification.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse areas using 5S principles.
- Communicate effectively with Production, Quality, and Shipping departments to prioritize customer orders.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Perform other warehouse, shipping, and production support duties as assigned.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to safely operate a sit-down forklift
- Previous 3+ years in Shipping Preparation experience preferred
- Previous 4+ years of Warehouse Experience
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory accuracy preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours per shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and electronics manufacturing environment
