About the Role

Real Chemistry, a global agency delivering full‑suite healthcare communications, is hiring a Director, Social to lead high‑impact social strategies across our healthcare accounts.

Who You Are

You have deep experience leading channel, content, and activation strategies at scale across current and emerging platforms. You live and breathe social, understand news and culture trends, and can judge content performance while telling creative stories that move fast and have fun.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the day‑to‑day social media lead across multiple healthcare accounts, advising on integrated social campaigns from content development to paid strategy.
  • Plan and execute multi‑channel content, distribution, and influencer activations, and provide analytics and results reporting for several clients.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook) and guide clients on emerging opportunities.
  • Work with data scientists to provide competitive social performance insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and lead all aspects of the social media budget, collaborating with internal teams and senior leaders to optimize spend.
  • Identify new integrated social and digital program opportunities and present growth ideas to clients.
  • Serve as a mentor to the social team, fostering delegation and ownership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience, ideally in health or pharmaceutical social media with agency experience.
  • Experience leading social content programs with creative and production teams.
  • Proficiency in social media technologies (Meta Ads Manager, CMS, monitoring platforms, measurement tools).
  • Understanding of FDA and FTC regulations for biotech and pharma clients.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Client‑service experience in an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social media business and pitch new business.
  • Leadership experience mentoring junior staff.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills.

    • Pay Range

    $119,000.00–$145,000.00
