The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong writing skills, experience producing social-first content, and a solid understanding of social media trends and best practices.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of AP Style, and the ability to adapt messaging for multiple audiences with creativity, clarity, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and support organic social media campaigns aligned with reputation strategy, PR initiatives, and key observances

Publishing & Platform Management

  • Curate, schedule, post, edit, and monitor content in alignment with the corporate editorial calendar and brand objectives
  • Manage regular posting across corporate social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube

Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with creative design, photo, and video teams to execute high-quality visual content
  • Implement brand storytelling through colleague, expert, patient, and partner testimonials

Engagement & Community Management

  • Participate in social media conversations to encourage dialogue and build brand awareness
  • Support social media monitoring during crisis communications or disaster response events, escalating issues proactively and using sound professional judgment

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop performance reports using internal benchmarks, industry standards, and KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve content performance and engagement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with PR, marketing, consumer content, internal communications, and HR teams to ensure alignment across digital and traditional communication channels

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, Multimedia Content, or a related field
  • 23 years of experience in social media, public relations, communications, journalism, agency work, content strategy, or content marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience (writing samples required during interview process)
  • Exceptional AP Style writing and editing skills with a strong eye for grammar, punctuation, tone, and voice
  • Experience using social media publishing and management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite or similar platforms)
  • Understanding of social media KPIs and ability to interpret metrics to optimize engagement and performance
  • Strong storytelling skills paired with technical proficiency
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams
  • Highly motivated, creative, and self-directed

Preferred Qualifications
