Job Overview
We are seeking a Solution Architect (Dynamics 365) with strong experience in the apparel, fashion, or retail industry to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &; Operations (F&;O) solutions.
This role will involve translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while leading end-to-end system architecture in a high transaction volume environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, reporting directly to the Vice President of IT.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &; Operations solutions
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Define integrations with PLM, warehouse management, e-commerce, and POS systems
- Oversee development teams, code reviews, and best practice enforcement
- Guide system configuration, customization, and environment setup
- Lead integration strategy with third-party systems (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce, ERP platforms)
- Define and manage data migration strategies (product, vendor, inventory, customer data)
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and data integrity
- Act as technical lead across full implementation lifecycle (design through go-live)
- Support project planning, risk management, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate architecture and design decisions
- Support training, documentation, and post-go-live optimisation
Experience
- 10 years ERP implementation experience, including 4 years with Dynamics 365 F&;O in a lead/architect role
- Proven delivery of at least two full-cycle D365 F&;O implementations
- Strong experience within apparel, fashion, or retail industries
- Expertise in supply chain, order management, inventory, and financial processes
- Experience with integrations (Azure Logic Apps, APIs, OData, Power Platform)
- Strong knowledge of product variants, BOMs, and apparel-specific business logic
- Experience with D365 ISVs (e.g., SKG, Avalara, Vertex, FastPath, DocCentric, SPS Commerce)
- Familiarity with tools such as LCS, DevOps, and Data Management Framework
- Experience with PLM and planning systems (e.g., Logility, OMP)
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with global supply chains, EDI, and 3PL integrations preferred
- Microsoft certifications (MB300, MB310, MB320, MB330, MB340, MB700, etc.) beneficial
