divh2Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing/h2pOur client, a Property and Casualty Insurance company, is looking for a Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing for their Philadelphia, PA/Jersey City, NJ/Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hybrid location./ppResponsibilities:/pulliManage a cross functional team with full sourcing cycle, including vendor identification and selection, price negotiation, and contract red-lining in collaboration with Legal counterparts for MSAs, Schedules, SOWs, etc./liliResponsible for development of strategic sourcing opportunities pipeline through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process reengineering/liliDirectly manage high value Sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity levels into the following Sourcing categories: Management Consulting; Tax Consulting; Audit; Temporary Labor, Information Technology and Business Outsourcing; Real Estate and Facilities Services and others/liliAgree with business clients on approach and schedule for the sourcing project and its related contract(s) negotiations/liliCommunicate regularly with key business stakeholders regarding project approach, scope, key issues, status, business requirements, and relevant dependencies/liliAssess savings opportunities on all engagements, and work with clients to achieve optimal cost reductions/savings as appropriate/liliEvaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval./liliAnalyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies./liliDriving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends./liliNegotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality./liliCollaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities./liliConducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts./liliEstimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations./liliMaintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships./li/ulpRequirements:/pulliBachelors degree in business, economics, finance, logistics, or in a related field./liliMinimum of 7 years procurement experience in a related industry./liliExcellent organizational and time management skills./liliStrong process analysis and analytical skills including ability to use data to drive decision making./liliStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment./liliProven ability to lead, motivate and gain commitment from Executive leadership, senior management, direct/indirect reports, and colleagues./liliExceptional ability to influence stakeholders and drive groups with divergent opinions toward effective, collaborative decisions./liliStrong supplier relationship and conflict management skills./liliStrong oral and written communications and influencing skills./liliAbility to effectively summarize program status and create PowerPoint presentations for executive audience./liliAble to navigate a global matrixed organization, influence stakeholders and affect outcomes.
