POSITION SUMMARY :

Provide actionable insights on metal market trends and pricing to guide procurement and merchandising strategies. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality supply of metal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for metals and related commodities.

Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and ethical sourcing

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Oversee supply and demand planning for the metal category.

Monitor inventory levels and align procurement with manufacturing and retail needs.

Compliance & Ethical Standards

Ensure adherence to international sourcing regulations.

Implement and monitor compliance frameworks across the supply chain.

Vendor Relationship Management

Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and partners.

Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions when needed.

Metal Pricing & Market Trends

Track global metal pricing benchmarks and market trends to inform procurement strategy.

Analyze historical and real-time data to anticipate price fluctuations and supply chain risks.

Provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders on timing, volume, and sourcing regions to optimize cost and value.

Vertical Integration Support

Collaborate on initiatives to streamline Signet’s vertical integration efforts.

Coordinate assembly, service, and repair functions with sourcing operations.

Financial & Process Modeling

Provide financial modeling to support sourcing decisions and cost optimization.

Map and improve sourcing processes for efficiency and transparency

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience : 8+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or luxury goods procurement.

Required Skills :

Precious metals market knowledge within the jewelry or luxury goods industry

Strategic planning and market analysis

Proven track record managing ethical sourcing practices aligned with RJC
