What Youll Do

As a Parenting Education & Support Specialist, you will help incarcerated parents grow in confidence, skills, and identity as mothers and fathers created by God. Approximately 75% of your time will focus on core program responsibilities, including :

• Facilitate group classes inside correctional facilities. Youll lead evidence-based parenting and relationship classes, delivering curriculum with excellence while creating an atmosphere of respect, safety, and trauma-informed care.
• Provide one-on-one support and create Individual Service Plans (ISPs). Youll meet individually with parents to understand their needs, help them develop healthy goals, coordinate resources, and offer consistent, Christ-centered encouragement.
• Prepare class materials and documentation. Youll organize lessons, review curriculum, and maintain accurate, timely records so the program remains strong, consistent, and compliant.
• Support program operations and special events. Whether helping with logistics, connecting with facility staff, participating in Daddy Day Visits, or responding to emerging needs, youll contribute to a smooth, effective, and grace-filled program experience.

The remainder of your time will include team meetings, coordination, training, planning, and other organizational responsibilities that keep you connected to the mission and our entire staff team.
