Compliance Analyst
This position is responsible for supporting the Bank's Compliance Management Program while ensuring compliance with vendor management, advertising, deposit, and lending regulations. The position requires continuous expansion of regulatory compliance expertise with proficiency developed across multiple functions, while also contributing to process efficiency and effective cross-functional collaboration. This role requires an individual who operates with an anticipatory and proactive approach and maintains a solution-oriented mindset. Critical thinking is vital for resolving issues, interpreting concepts, determining needs, and converting them into practical operational solutions. This role requires the ability to model an attitude of collaboration and teamwork throughout all departments of the bank.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for :
- Providing support to the Bank's Compliance Administrators and Managers who oversee regulatory compliance bank-wide including deposit, advertising, lending, vendor management, Bank Secrecy Act, and fraud compliance.
- Interpreting and maintaining working knowledge of consumer compliance rules and regulations and their impact on products, services, and operations.
- Reviewing and researching regulatory releases and data and attending compliance professional development opportunities.
- Performing routine compliance reviews as defined by the Compliance Management Program.
- Assisting in conducting risk assessments of banking laws and regulations in support of a risk-focused compliance monitoring and testing framework.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
- Performing timely and accurate processing of compliance mail and legal requests, including routine subpoena documentation.
