This role sits at the center of our project execution—working closely with Project Managers, engineers, and field teams to bring building systems to life. If you enjoy turning sequences into working systems, integrating complex equipment, and seeing your work operate in real buildings, this is a strong fit. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing Program, configure, and commission BAS/DDC systems based on project sequences and contract documents Build out system graphics and user interfaces that give end users clear visibility into their building systems Integrate third-party equipment and systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols (chillers, boilers, VFDs, RTUs, VRF systems, generators, FAS, etc.) Support projects through startup, commissioning, and turnover—both remotely and onsite Work directly with Project Managers, engineers, and customers to ensure systems are delivered as designed Participate in jobsite walkthroughs, commissioning activities, and customer demonstrations/training Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during installation and startup phases Maintain organized project documentation, including backups, as-builts, and closeout materials Provide updates on project progress and support overall project delivery timelines and goals ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience programming and commissioning commercial BAS/DDC systems Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls strategies, and building operations Experience integrating with third-party equipment and open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON) Familiarity with platforms such as Tridium Niagara (N4/AX), Schneider EcoStruxure, or similar systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment Solid networking knowledge as it relates to BAS systems Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and with customers ________________________________________ What This Role Looks Like Day-to-Day This isn’t a desk-only programming role. You’ll split your time between building out systems, supporting active construction sites, and working through real-world challenges alongside field teams.
