Provides immigration advising and support services to promote the success, wellness, and academic goals of international students, dependents, and graduated students pursing Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Academic Training. Serves as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), independently providing expert immigration and regulatory advising to international students. Can serve as lead Career Empowerment Coordinator or as lead Coordinator for SEVIS registration. Actively advises faculty and staff across campus by providing in-depth guidance on matters relevant to international students. In collaboration with the ISS team, designs and delivers professional intercultural and support programs that facilitate the educational, professional, and personal success of international students at UCR. Contributes to outreach and campus training that provides faculty, staff, and students with the resources and skills needed to effectively contribute to an increasingly international campus.

The full salary range for the International Student Advisor is $57,700 - $99,300. However, the expected hiring range for this position is $57,700.00 to $69,907.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
