POSITION : Substitute Custodian, SY 2025-26 Talent Pool

LOCATION(S) : Buildings & Grounds

REPORTS TO : School Principal, Head Custodian, and Custodial Manager

POSITION SUMMARY : This position performs manual cleaning, maintenance, repair, storage, and furniture moving tasks both inside and outside the building.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, and equipment used in large public buildings
• Knowledge of simple maintenance and repair work and the materials and tools required
• Ability to understand the relationship between a clean and healthy environment
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups
• Ability to understand and carry out direct instructions
• Must be able to work within difficult time constraints and under stressful conditions

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Non-certified
