Your day to day as a Production Control Planner IV

As a Production Control Planner IV at PTI Technologies, you'll play a crucial role in the dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will encompass planning production components and assemblies, as well as managing the purchasing of raw materials and outside processing. You will develop and maintain detailed bills of material while resolving scheduling discrepancies. Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity, you'll ensure optimal workflow across departments, guiding production workers through fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

You'll confer with department supervisors to monitor project status and expedite operations to meet tight schedules. Additionally, you will prepare production reports, requisitions for necessary materials and equipment, and maintain optimal inventory levels using MRP systems. By participating in problem resolution activities, you’ll ensure timely deliveries, positioning yourself as a critical asset in our mission to uphold excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with at least seven years of experience in production control planning, within the aerospace segment preferred. Proficiency in WDS Manufacturing software, Excel, and MS Word is crucial for effective execution of inventory and scheduling tasks.

Strong mathematical skills are necessary for calculating rates, ratios, and producing accurate reports. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential for interpreting documentation and engaging effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. A CPIM certification is a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional growth.

You must also demonstrate the ability to apply common sense reasoning to navigate problems involving multiple variables. The physical demands require the capability to handle materials and operate tools, ensuring you can support the production environment effectively.
