About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Supply Chain to spearhead our supply chain operations in the fast-paced environment of perishable goods. The ideal candidate will craft and implement innovative strategies aimed at waste reduction, margin improvement, and service excellence. This role requires a visionary leader who can develop, inspire, and empower a high-performing supply chain team while collaborating closely with executive leadership. You will uphold the integrity and efficiency of the supply chain from farm to fork.

Your primary responsibilities will include achieving outstanding fill rates, fine-tuning inventory levels, and overseeing logistics across diverse channels. You will also ensure adherence to food safety and sustainability standards, negotiate high-value contracts, and optimize ERP systems for improved performance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in the perishable food distribution sector or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a relevant field is preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in margin optimization, inventory management, and logistics within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical prowess in forecasting, cost modeling, and utilizing ERP/WMS systems.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A collaborative, innovative mindset with a genuine passion for people and food.
