Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and substantive support to attorneys and legal staff
• Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
• File documents electronically with state and federal courts (e-filing)
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
• Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and client meetings
• Prepare discovery materials and assist with document production
• Process billing entries and assist with timekeeping

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm
• Familiarity with insurance defense
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and filing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience with case management and document management systems
• Experience with litigation calendaring and trial preparation
