Clinical Operations & Leadership:

• Oversee the daily function and staffing of the Surgical Oncology unit to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing practices and hold staff accountable for clinical excellence, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

Patient Care & Experience:

• Support the implementation of evidence-based practices that drive superior clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.
• Facilitate effective interdisciplinary collaboration within and across departments to support seamless care coordination.

Staff Management & Development:

• Recruit, coach, and develop clinical staff to ensure consistent and competent nursing care.
• Maintain staffing schedules in alignment with patient needs and productivity standards.

Financial Oversight & Compliance:

• Manage operating expenses and identify cost reduction strategies without compromising quality of care.

Candidate requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Licensure:
  
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact license with eligibility to practice in Texas).
• Certifications:
  
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - current.
  • Oncology Chemo Certificate - required.
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare leadership experience required.
