About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Emergency Medicine PA in South Dakota!
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 7-day assignment in South Dakota, starting Apr 12, 2026. This role involves providing sole coverage during 24-hour shifts, focusing on rounding on emergency department patients and stabilizing them for transfer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider in the Emergency Department
- Perform rounding on patients in the ED
- Stabilize patients for transfer
- Conduct wound repair, including sutures and splints
- Perform intubations
Additional Information
- Board Certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
- Expected to work 24-hour shifts
