Pool Service Technician Position Title:

  • Pool Service Technician Job Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Pool Service Technician to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, maintaining water quality, performing routine maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.
  • This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to work extended hours as needed during peak seasons.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and maintain residential and commercial swimming pools.
  • Test and balance pool chemicals.
  • Inspect pool equipment for proper operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on pool systems and equipment.
  • Vacuum pools, brush walls, clean filters, and remove debris.
  • Accurately document services performed and chemical usage.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
  • Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check .
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening .
  • Must possess a valid driver's license .
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work various schedules , including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.
  • Must be willing and able to work long hours on a daily basis during peak seasons .
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
  • Preferred Qualifications Previous pool service experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Ability to use technology such as smartphones or service management apps.
  • Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
  • Company vehicle provided (if applicable).
