Position Responsibilities:

In this position, you'll be an active CST for ORA at our Crow Valley Surgery Center. You'll function as a first or second scrub under the direct supervision of the perioperative RN, assisting physicians in surgery and practicing and maintaining sterile technique. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in surgical cases that make a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as the successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. A Surgical Technician Certification is required, along with the ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, pull, push, and lift over 50 pounds. We would prefer previous experience in the field, but new graduates are always welcome. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This candidate must have the ability to travel as needed.
