HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Tarzana, California.

Shift : Day Shift – 5x8-Hour (08 : 30–17 : 30)
Job Responsibilities
\t
Function as a Certified Orthopedic Technician providing clinical support in an outpatient orthopedic setting
\t
\t
Assist orthopedic physicians with patient care, procedures, and clinic flow
\t
\t
Apply, remove, and adjust casts, splints, braces, and orthopedic devices
\t
\t
Prepare patients for examinations and minor orthopedic procedures
\t
\t
Provide patient education on cast care, brace use, and post-procedure instructions
\t
\t
Maintain examination rooms, ensuring proper setup, cleanliness, and supply availability
\t
\t
Assist with documentation and charting in EPIC according to facility standards
\t
\t
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
\t
\t
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times
\t
\t
Float between clinic locations as needed to support staffing needs
\t
Required Skills & Experience
\t
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Orthopedic Technician – required
\t
\t
Outpatient orthopedic clinic experience – required
\t
\t
Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures, casting, splinting, and bracing techniques
\t
\t
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
\t
\t
Comfortable floating between clinic locations as required
\t
\t
Excellent communication, organization, and patient interaction skills
\t
Required Certifications & Licensure
\t
Certified Orthopedic Technician through NBCOT – Required
\t
\t
Active certification must be in hand at time of submission
