Sushi Chef – Trapper's Sushi (Tacoma ,WA)
Pay : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour + Tips

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Sushi Chef who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a team-driven kitchen. Position Overview
The Sushi Chef is responsible for preparing sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty items while upholding Trapper's standards for quality, presentation, and food safety. This role requires excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during high-volume service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items to company specifications.
- Maintain ingredient freshness, proper storage, and accurate FIFO rotation.
- Keep a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation throughout service.
- Follow all food safety practices and Texas food handling regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to support smooth service.
- Assist with daily prep, inventory checks, and restocking needs.
- Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK values : teamwork, respect, accountability, passion, honesty, and kindness.
