[job_card.job_description]Lead and support sustainability-focused electrical engineering projects under LACCD’s Bond Program Support electrification of central plants and building systems aligned with the District’s Clean Energy Resolution Apply sustainable building principles to resolve complex, system-level electrical issues Support districtwide initiatives including energy master planning, carbon reduction, grid resiliency, and electrification Perform electrical engineering analysis and prepare technical reports supporting District design guidelines Ensure integration of advanced systems such as LED lighting, PV, BESS, EV charging, microgrids, and smart controls Coordinate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and schedules Provide technical review and peer support for RFCs, change orders, and other project documentation Participate in all phases of capital projects, from planning and design through construction and closeout Attend project and construction meetings at various sites as required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 10+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of California Energy Codes, Title 24, NEC, CALGreen (CCR Part 11), and applicable electrical engineering standards Experience with educational facility construction Experience and / or certification with LEED and / or CHPS projects California Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering Medical, Dental & Vision : 100% employer-paid monthly premiums for employees and 50% coverage for dependents under our company-sponsored plan Life Insurance : Company-paid coverage up to $50,000 Paid Time Off (PTO) : Accrues up to 80 hours per year with increased accrual based on tenure Sick Leave : 10 days of paid sick leave annually - well above the average of 5-6 days offered by most firms Holidays : 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and a paid day off for your BIRTHDAY!!! 401(k) : Company match up to 4% (100% of the first 3%, 50% of the next 2%) Education Support : Assistance with tuition, licenses, and professional certifications Referral Bonus : Highest employee referral program of $5,000–$10,000 depending on level of hire Extra Paid Leave : For jury duty, bereavement leave, and voting time for local / state / federal elections Client Shutdown Days : Additional paid days off when client offices are closed Equipment : Laptop provided as needed Cell Phone Stipend : $100 monthly stipend for eligible roles Be part of trusted leader in delivering impactful public sector projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV- Sustainability to support districtwide capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects under the BuildLACCD Bond Program.
- Salary Range : $140K / Year-$155K / Year
Hybrid Schedule : One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week
