Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Fitness Instructor to join our team!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Fitness Instructor :

  • Lead Aqua Fit classes with a focus on safety and enjoyment
  • Instruct both standing and seated fitness classes for Independent and Assisted Living Residents
  • Adapt exercises to accommodate varying mobility and fitness levels
  • Create a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages fun, and participation
  • Monitor participants for proper form and safety
  • Must provide own music playlists and portable speaker for classes

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :

  • Experience teaching Aqua Fit and senior-focused fitness classes
  • Ability to lead both standing and seated exercise formats
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in group fitness instruction
  • CPR / First Aid certification

    • Schedule : This part-time position is 3-4 days a week; mornings and early afternoons.
