divh2Indirect Tax Manager / h2pKey Responsibilities / ppAudit Support / ppPrepare and provide auditors with supporting documentation using various internal systems. / ppReview auditors workpapers, analyze findings, and prepare audit defense responses. / ppAnalyze, extrapolate, and evaluate audit exposure to identify risk and mitigation opportunities. / ppTax Compliance / ppSupport the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns and related schedules. / ppPartner with outside consultants on projects, tax filings, and data requests. / ppResearch and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding tax rates, product classification, and exemption documentation. / ppMaintain compliance calendars to ensure timely filings and remittances. / ppOther / Special Projects / ppManage and assist with indirect tax related and cross-functional projects, including data analytics and system enhancements. / ppCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT to ensure accuracy and integrity of transactional tax data. / ppIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. / ppQualifications / ppThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with sales and use tax audits, compliance, and research. / ppBachelors degree in accounting or finance required. / pp5+ years of experience in corporate tax or finance, with a focus on sales and use tax. / ppExperience interacting with auditors, audit defense, and tax appeals. / ppExperience working with Vertex or similar tax automation systems, and proficiency with Oracle, MicroStrategy, Excel, Word, and SharePoint. / ppExcellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. / ppStrong written and verbal communication skills. / ppHigh energy and motivation, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. / ppHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines. / ppIndependent thinker and self-starter with sound judgment. / ppPrior experience in the retail industry is a plus. / ppOur Culture Values / ppWe believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
