Senior Tax Accountant

Growing North Phoenix boutique CPA firm is looking to add a heavy Senior Tax Accountant to their staff. This is a great opportunity to move into a manager role. This is an in-person position with a salary up to $120K depending on your experience level.

Responsibilities :

  • Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts
  • Preparing tax extensions
  • Year end tax projections
  • Tax Research
  • Generating trial balances and financial statements
  • Responding to IRS and other taxing authority notices
  • Proactively communicating with clients to obtain necessary information and provide tax and financial feedback
  • Financial statement, reviews & compilations

Requirements Include :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • 3 -5 years of tax experience in a CPA firm as well as experience of financial statement review and compilations.
  • Proficiency in both general and accounting related computer software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and priorit
