GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION :
Linux Administrator
This is highly technical work focused on planning, installing, securing, customizing, and maintaining enterprise AIX and Linux operating systems, middleware, and critical business application platforms. The position supports both on-premises and cloud-hosted environments, including IBM Power / AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and related toolchains.
The Technical Analyst II is responsible for the availability, performance, recoverability, and lifecycle management of platforms including (but not limited to) : IBM Workload Automation, SAP BusinessObjects, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud, IBM Storage Protect (formerly Tivoli Storage Manager / Spectrum Protect), IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Maestro LISTSERV, GitHub-based deployment workflows, and associated web / edge tiers (HTTP servers, caching proxies, load balancers).
This position also contributes to security hardening and audit readiness, including patching, configuration management, and implementation of technical controls. The role designs, documents, and tests disaster recovery (DR) and continuity-of-operations procedures for mission-critical business processes that rely on these systems.

Bachelors Degree is Required
