Job Title : RPA Technical Lead Engineer Location : Columbus, Georgia Experience : 12+ Years Employment Type : Contract Interview Type : In-Person or Webcam Job Description We are looking for a highly experienced RPA Technical Lead Engineer to guide the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade robotic process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in leading RPA platforms, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to architect scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver automation programs from concept to production. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of RPA solutions using industry-standard RPA tools. Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities, ensuring feasibility and alignment with technical capabilities. Create detailed solution architecture documents, technical specifications, and process design documents. Provide technical leadership to RPA developers, ensuring best practices, coding standards, and high-quality deliverables. Oversee code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing automations. Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to refine requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions. Manage RPA environments, orchestrators, and integrations with enterprise systems. Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met throughout automation lifecycle. Serve as a subject-matter expert for RPA technologies, providing guidance on emerging tools, frameworks, and automation approaches. Support deployment, testing, production rollout, and ongoing maintenance of automation workflows. Required Skills and Qualifications 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 7 years in RPA development and solution design. Expertise in major RPA platforms, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalent. Strong proficiency in solution architecture, including process modeling, workflow design, and system integrations. Hands-on experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, .NET, VB, C#, or Java Deep understanding of RPA components, such as orchestrators, bots, queues, triggers, and scheduling. Experience leading technical teams, conducting reviews, and mentoring developers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes. Knowledge of APIs, web services, SQL databases, and enterprise application integration. Solid understanding of security, compliance, and audit requirements in automation environments. Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical teams and present solutions effectively. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies is a plus.
