The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) serves as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner in delivering Itron's meter-to-cash solutions across AMR and AMI technologies. This role is pivotal in building technical credibility, fostering customer trust, and driving solution adoption through collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric engagement. The TSE works closely with Enterprise Client Executives, Sales Specialists, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Professional Services to influence bookings and backlog growth by translating technical value into measurable business outcomes. Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Sales & Differentiation
- Champion Itron's AMI and metering products as the most advanced, lowest-risk, and highest-value solutions in the market.
- Build authentic, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders including meter shop engineers and operations teams.
- Deliver engaging workshops, presentations, and demonstrations that highlight product capabilities and operational insights.
- Collaborate on RFPs and proposals to emphasize Itron's differentiation in performance, interoperability, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the technical voice across Itron's metering portfolio, connecting devices, networks, and head-end systems to deliver customer value.

The base salary range is $75,000 - $188,000. This position is eligible for our sales incentive program.#LI-BJ1
