This hands-on role involves working with clients and internal teams to document requirements, configure tax platforms, test system integrations, and support end-user training. Youll gain exposure to leading ERP and e-Commerce systems such as Microsoft D365, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Acumatica, Shopify, and Stripe, while developing deep expertise in tax engines like Avalara, Vertex, and ONESOURCE. This role is ideal for professionals eager to combine tax knowledge with technology and grow toward future leadership. / ph3Key Responsibilities / h3ulliSupport configuration, deployment, and testing of tax automation software (Avalara, Vertex, and ONESOURCE) / liliAssist in integrating tax platforms with client ERP systems including Microsoft D365, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Acumatica, Shopify, and Stripe / liliHelp gather and document client business requirements related to indirect tax automation / liliPrepare and deliver training presentations on indirect tax technology for internal and external audiences / liliAssist in troubleshooting and resolving system errors or configuration issues / liliCollaborate with managers and cross-functional teams (Tax, IT, Sales, Master Data, Procurement) / liliSupport preparation of technical documentation, test scripts, and project deliverables / liliContribute to client meetings, sales support, and proposal development discussions / liliBegin mentoring and onboarding of junior staff / liliAssist with project billing, administrative tracking, and engagement setup / li / ulh3Qualifications / h3pBachelors degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline / ppCPA, CMI, or progress toward certification preferred / pp24 years of relevant experience in tax technology, indirect tax, or ERP system implementation / ppHands-on experience with at least one major tax automation system and exposure to multiple ERP environments / ppFamiliarity with technology tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and AI / ppDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables / ppStrong written and verbal communication skills; capable of working directly with clients and vendors / ppWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowes values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
