As a Principal Technologist, you will serve as a deep technical authority, responsible for driving advanced technology strategy, solution architecture, and innovation across key client engagements. This role requires a visionary technologist who can influence engineering direction, lead complex transformations, and ensure the technical excellence of delivery in line with Infosys’ and Industry standards.Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within the traveling distance of Richardson/Houston, TX or Raleigh/Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.15+ years of experience in enterprise technology with proven leadership in architecture and engineering.Expertise in at least three or more of the following domains:AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, MCP, A2A, LangGraph, ADK, Agentic WebCloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)Microservices & Distributed SystemsAPI Platforms & IntegrationData Engineering & AnalyticsCybersecurity, SRE, DevSecOpsModern Application Development Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Leadership & Strategy•Set the technology vision and roadmap for strategic accounts and internal accelerators within STG.•Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and platforms to drive continuous innovation.•Act as the highest-level technical advisor for clients, senior stakeholders, and engineering teams.Solution Architecture & Design•Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale, mission-critical, and cloud-native systems.•Create reference architectures, reusable frameworks, proof of concepts and solution blueprints.•Ensure architectural consistency, performance, scalability, and security across implementations.Technical Governance & Delivery Excellence•Provide hands-on guidance in solving complex engineering challenges across multiple programs.•Review and sign off on architecture decisions, design documents, and code quality.•Define best practices, engineering standards, and technology governance models.Client & Stakeholder Engagement•Lead high-impact technical discussions with CIO/CTO-level stakeholders.•Translate business goals into actionable technology strategies and architectures.•Partner with account teams to shape new opportunities and strengthen technical credibility.Innovation & Thought Leadership•Drive internal innovation initiatives, PoCs, and IP creation within STG.•Represent Infosys at tech forums, conferences, and industry events.•Mentor architects, technologists, and engineering leaders to build strong internal capability.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
