Telecom Tehcnician

Duration : 6 months, possible to extend

Location : Hybrid, will need to go onsite as needed – must be local within 50miles of Kirkland, WA

Bill Rate : $30-34 / hr

Interview : 1 and done virtual

Required Experience :

  • 2+ years of experience in telecom, desktop support, helpdesk, system administration, or similar
  • Knowledge of Cisco VoIP system and devices.
  • Experience working in IDF / MDF closets, including patch panel management and cable organization

Day-to-Day :

  • Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems (VoIP, PBX, routers, switches).
  • Perform cabling and wiring for voice and data networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call quality, connectivity, and hardware failures.
  • Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or patches as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and inventory.
  • Respond to onsite service requests and provide end-user support for telecom-related issues.
