ASC is seeking a self-motivated problem-solving and collaborative person to join a support team known for its superior customer service! We’re seeking an experienced ASC DB Valuation and Compliance Testing ace! ASC places a high value on work-life balance and creating a positive, fun, and customer-focused environment.

Job location may be telecommuting, or in our Los Angeles area office. Benefits include a 37.5 work week without time sheets, flexible hours, medical and dental insurance, (k) and plans, PTO, continuing education/conference attendance, and home office costs.

Your role would be to help our many users of the ASC DB Valuation and Compliance Testing system.

Responsibilities

  • Support our existing clients
  • Develop, test, and document product enhancements
  • Create and update training materials
  • Deliver client training and webcast presentations
  • Manage multiple projects independently
  • Assist our sales and marketing team to update marketing materials
  • Attend conferences
  • Represents all ASC products when meeting with clients and prospects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Broad knowledge of pension valuations, including pension administration, compliance testing, accounting, plan documents, proposals, and reporting requirements. Multiple decrement experience is a plus.
  • ASC system experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset
  • An inquisitive mind-set for creative problem-solving
  • Ability to research pension law and regulation independently and document findings
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear written and oral communication that adapts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Patience and a sense of humor
  • Industry knowledge – professional designations such as ASPPA or EA (or progress toward) are valued but not required
