Position : PCU / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Abilene, Texas

Schedule : Full-time | Various Shifts Available

Sign-On Bonus : Available for qualified candidates!

About the Role

As a PCU / Telemetry RN , you’ll play a critical role in patient monitoring and care delivery. You’ll connect patients to telemetry equipment, interpret vital data, and collaborate with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes. This position is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy critical thinking, and want to make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct, individualized nursing care using evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data to detect changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred).
  • Current RN license (Texas or compact state).
  • CPR / BLS certification required.
  • ACLS & NIH Stroke Scale certification (may be completed during orientation).
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
