Job Description
The Facility Services team is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and small remodeling projects that have been contracted through our Facility Services division. The HVAC Technician is responsible for self-performing work as well as leading subcontractors to complete projects as contracted. The Facility Services HVAC Technician will primarily work in Topeka and NE Kansas, for specific project awards.
Key Responsibilities
- Self-performs HVAC work.
- Communicates key project information to the Facility Services team, subcontractors, clients, and owners.
- Ensures quality compliance through the accurate interpretation of building plans, specifications and maintenance instructions.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, demolition, and installation of existing and new HVAC systems and equipment. Both residential and commercial.
- Install and repair small-scale pipes, fittings. valves, fixtures, and plumbing systems equipment.
- Determine sources of HVAC and plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs according to code.
- Produce quality work, safely and timely.
