ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Assumes Responsibility For :
- Confirming Team Roster, Maintaining Roster Accuracy
Coordinate with the Athletic Department to finalize the team roster and communicate updates as needed. Keep the Athletic Department informed of player additions, consistent absences or removals.
Regularly update families and players regarding schedules, expectations, and events.
Organize, maintain, and account for all team equipment during the season, Gather uniforms after the final game and return them promptly to the Athletic Department.
Punctuality and Preparedness :
Design practices that promote skill development, strategy, and personal growth.
Be present for all practices, games, and bus rides to away contests.
Ensure players are equipped, informed, and ready for each game.
Transformational Coaching :
Cultivate a positive environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, inclusion, and teamwork.
Monitor and encourage the emotional and social wellness of all team members.
Work effectively with upper school program, assistant coaches, faculty, and athletic personnel to support athletes.
Inform players about opportunities in the U.S. Volleyball program to encourage long-term engagement.
