  • Perform functional testing on simple and basic electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and instruments following established specifications and work instructions.
  • Set up common, regular, and proprietary test equipment efficiently and correctly to support testing and calibration activities.
  • Accurately create and document rework records and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as issues are identified.
  • Correctly record, track, and report First Pass Yield data in accordance with internal standards and metrics.
  • Understand and comply with equipment calibration requirements, ensuring all test equipment is maintained and used within specified calibration intervals.
  • Understand and comply with electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements and handle sensitive electronic components using proper ESD controls.
  • Actively suggest and support ideas for process improvements and cost savings, including improving cycle time and reducing waste.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures and consistently model safe work practices on the production floor.
  • Meet defined standards for productivity, quality, and cost as measured by established operational metrics.
  • Contribute to and support a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production, testing, and repair activities.

Essential Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience with complex electrical testing and troubleshooting, including electrical assembly, electrical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • One to two years of practical experience working with complex electronic test equipment in a troubleshooting and repair environment.
  • Military or trade school training in electronics, including digital and analog theory and solid-state circuitry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, circuit schematics, engineering change orders, and customer service repair instructions.
  • Intermediate-level soldering skills for work on electronic assemblies and components.

  • Strong focus and attention to detail when performing tests, calibrations, and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a technical environment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation when supporting internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills related to products, processes, and equipment.
  • Comfort working with computers and learning new software and programs quickly.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics or higher is preferred.
  • Experience in an aerospace manufacturing or similar high-reliability production environment is beneficial.
  • Experience using test equipment for repair and calibration of electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with documenting rework, non-conformance reports, and yield metrics.
  • Ability to participate in an in-person interview and complete an on-site schematic test as part of the selection process.

Why Work Here?

You will work with experienced professionals who encourage learning, knowledge sharing, and process innovation.
