We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Your Responsibilities:
You will lead and own the development, implementation, and execution of product testing, test processes, and test facilities. Responsibilities include: support design of test facilities, cost estimation, working with contractors, facility maintenance and upgrades.
Salary: $76,200.00 - $127,000.00 per year

Your Challenge:
Development of test plans, specifications, and procedures to support design requirements.
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of test facilities.
Train and provide technical direction to operations personnel in execution of test programs.
Review and analyze test results.
Prepare reports and proposals.
Provide technical support for all aspects of the division's test facilities and programs.
Work on cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
Participate as a project team member (development or production order).
Understand the customer's requirements for testing the product.
Interface effectively with internal customers (project team personnel).
Work with and manage outside contractor support of test facilities.
What You Bring:
Minimum education is a Bachelor of Science Degree/Engineering.
5+ years of experience involved with design, testing, or operation of rotating electrical equipment and/or medium voltage drives.
Working knowledge of instrumentation related to vibration, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic measurements related to product testing.
Experience managing outside contractors is preferred.
Experience with test facility construction and commissioning is preferred.
Ability to read and understand drawings and single line diagrams.
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
