Position Overview

The On-Call Multimedia Producer for Bonneville Phoenix will be a fill-in content creator of video and audio with an emphasis on the social media accounts for KTAR News and Arizona Sports. This person will be embedded with the newsroom (KTAR News and Arizona Sports) content team throughout the day, working closely with web editors, reporters, producers and hosts. This position requires someone who keeps up with Arizona news and the Arizona sports teams. The ideal candidate has experience with video on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.

Note : Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

  • This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Phoenix site.

What You Will Do :

Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Grow audience across social networks by promoting KTAR News and Arizona Sports content.
  • Be knowledgeable about trends in online news, KTAR News and Arizona Sports content, along with the biggest stories around the country and world.
  • Work closely with web editors, producers, reporters and hosts.
  • Use analytics to track audience growth and engagement across social platforms.

    • Skills and Experience We Are Looking For :

  • Must have a passion for Arizona news and Arizona sports teams.
  • Possess knowledge and general interest in all Arizona sports teams.
  • Having digital and video expertise is necessary.
  • Having audio editing and production skills.
  • Must be an expert in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Must have a tremendous personality - this is not a position for someone who likes to stand on the sidelines or listen to other people talk.
  • Desire to be a part of the future of news and sports in the world of digital media.
  • Solid news writing and editing skills.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision and be a self-starter.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    • Physical Demands

  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and / or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and / or stand for extended periods of time.

    • Compensation Range

    $17.00-$22.00 per hour

    Hourly rate will be determined by an evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal and external benchmarks.
