Tool Crib Attendant : McHenry, Illinois

Our customer in McHenry, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Tool Crib Attendants to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing tooling, equipment, and molds while ensuring safe, organized, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities of the Tool Crib Attendant :

  • Issue, receive, and store hand tools, machine tools, cams, materials, and other equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on tooling, fixtures, and special equipment.
  • Complete predictive and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Report visual defects in molds to the tooling manager.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and work areas at all times.
  • Pull molds from storage for production and return molds after job completion.

Tool Crib Attendant Requirements and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in plastic injection mold tech or relevant mechanical experience.
  • Mechanical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and crane is a plus.
  • Proficient oral and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and committed to continual professional development.

    • Pay for Tool Crib Attendant : $20–$23 / hour.
