Haulistic is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Operations Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating international shipments across air, ocean, and cross-border transportation. From booking through final delivery, the Operations Coordinator ensures efficient execution, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. This role will support the transition and ongoing management of Abco US freight along with other Haulistic international shipments beyond Abco. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, takes ownership of operational results, communicates proactively, and is comfortable managing multiple shipments, priorities, and customer relationships simultaneously. Professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required. This is a hybrid position with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays in the office in Warrenville, IL, and Mondays & Fridays working from home. Background & Education High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking) required 2+ years of experience coordinating domestic and/or international freight shipments required Experience using a transportation management system (TMS), freight forwarding system, or similar logistics software required Proficiency with Microsoft 365 required Key Responsibilities Shipment Coordination & Customer Service: Coordinate international air, ocean, and cross-border shipments from booking through delivery. Track shipments, provide proactive updates, and resolve issues as they arise. Communicate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and overseas partners. Support daily operations and customer communication in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Documentation, Customs & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation. Support customs clearance activities and resolve documentation issues. Ensure compliance with company procedures and international shipping requirements. Maintain accurate shipment records in Haulistic's Transportation Management System (SilverExpress). Pricing & Business Support: Obtain carrier rates and assist with customer quotations. Support customer growth opportunities through responsive service and operational support. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient shipment execution. Participate in team meetings and operational discussions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, and customer experience.
