Global Digital Product Owner CAT Foresight

We are seeking a seasoned Global Digital Product Owner to support and evolve the CAT Foresight CVA and Planned Maintenance digital product suite. This position plays a critical role in driving product strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement for a global user base. CAT Foresight is a key operational technology solution enabling lead generation and fleet/equipment management services.

You will serve as a vital liaison between users, development teams, and digital product managers to ensure smooth deployment, innovation, and support of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with digital product managers, CAT Foresight users, development teams, and CAT Digital Support.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements, UI/UX changes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize features.
  • Drive user adoption and enable growth through enhancements and innovations.
  • Lead the development of the product roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement and successful integrations.
  • Provide Tier 2 support and resolve product-related issues efficiently.
  • Identify, document, and track software bugs and feature requests.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and support field staff with implementation questions and customizations.
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of user workflows and overall product experience.

Team Structure

  • Current team includes 2 Product Managers and 1 Product Owner.
  • Collaborates with application developers, UI/UX designers, and platform developers.
  • Interfaces with internal business partners and dealer networks.

Must-Have Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar product owner or product management capacity.

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in decision-making, problem-solving, and change management for software products.
  • Strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Familiarity with software problem and change request management.
  • Understanding of software product lifecycle and business operations.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Ability to read and understand code to identify potential issues.
  • Experience in designing UX/UI workflows and writing both business and technical requirements.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with CAT Digital tools and technologies.
  • Exposure to AI technologies and innovation-driven solutions.
  • Experience working with offshore teams and global stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in dealer-focused product development environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strong team player with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a focus on user experience.
  • Ability to create and communicate user workflow diagrams and visual documentation.

Disqualifiers

  • Choppy or inconsistent work history.
  • Lack of progressive experience in relevant roles.

  • Must possess a valid passport or be willing to obtain one at their own expense.
