So, what’s the role all about?

The Director of Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) will lead the establishment of our new CVC arm aimed at accelerating our strategic growth and innovation ecosystem, by investing in the most promising startups shaping the future of CX. This role combines venture investment expertise, strategic business insight, and deep understanding of CX technology trends to build a portfolio that drives innovation, competitive advantage, and long-term growth.

How will you make an impact?

  • M onitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies and business models that may impact our industry and business in the future.
  • Define and execute the company’s CVC strategy aligned with NiCE mid-long-term strategic priorities. Develop investment theses around these.
  • S ource and evaluate high-potential startups within the prioritized domains.
  • S tructure, negotiate and manage investments round (mostly with other investors).
  • R epresent NiCE as an active, value-added investor with in the company and with co-investors.
  • W herever applicable, f acilitate commercial partnerships between portfolio companies and internal business units.
  • M anage company’s interfaces within NiCE.
  • W ork in collaboration with partnerships, M&A, product and R&D teams to ensure CVC activities is in alignment with those.
  • C ultivate relationships with top-tier venture firms, accelerators, and innovation hubs.
  • R epresenting NiCE at venture and industry events, positioning the company as an innovation leader in CX.

Have you got what it takes?

  • S elf-starter , proactive and accountable, who can excel in a fast-paced, highly demanding, fluid and uncertain environment.
  • 1 0+ years of experience in venture capital, corporate development, or innovation strategy - preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, or CX / AI domains.
  • I nterpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow.
  • S trong network within the VC and startup ecosystems.
  • P roven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and managing early and growth-stage investments.
  • Ex ceptional analytical, strategic, and financial modeling skills.
  • A bility to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • MB A or advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
