• This position is for a Central Fill pharmacy located in Everett, WA supplying patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain.
• **There is no patient interaction, answering of phones, or dealing with insurance companies**

Job Description:

• Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center.
• Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping.
• Maintains continuous and consistent work flow in order to meet daily production goals;and has the ability to work productively either independently or as a team with acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
• Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Demonstrate problem resolution skills: ability to recognize, address and escalate issues to management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Processes orders for shipping
• Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
• Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
• Loads product into truck
• Complies with policies, procedures and SOP s
• Adheres to and promotes the Company s Shared ICARE principles

Job Requirements

• Pharmacy Assistant certification (WA state requirement)
• Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds
• Will be standing/walking for the majority of the shift (8+hours per day)
