VCA Pahle Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time KennelAssistant/Day Camp Counselor to join our compassionate and dedicated team! If you love animals, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our boarding and day camp facility operates 365 days a year, providing a safe, clean, and loving environment for our patients while their families are away. We are looking for reliable, dependable, and punctual individuals who are excited to be part of a team that truly cares.

Position Details

• Status: Part-time (20-25+ hours per week)

• Schedule: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

• Starting Pay: $15/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding dogs and cats

• Safely walk and supervise dogs

• Feed dogs and cats according to individual instructions

• Check animals in and out of the boarding facility

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized facility through daily cleaning tasks

• Monitor pets for changes in behavior or health and report concerns to leadership

• Support a positive, low-stress environment for pets and clients alike

• Assist with dog day camp activities, as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Has a genuine passion for animal care and welfare

• Is dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented

• Works well both independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments

• Boarding, kennel, or dog day camp experience is a plus-but not required

• Willing to learn, motivated, and brings a positive attitude to every shift
