As a growing practice, we are building a strong, supportive team focused on high-quality medicine and compassionate care. Our 3,000 sq. ft. facility includes five exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, a dedicated dental and surgery suite, and Fear Freefocused patient accommodations. We also collaborate with mobile specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery, and offer integrative services such as acupuncture.

We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about animal care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to grow your clinical skills while working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide compassionate, attentive care to patients and excellent service to clients.
  • Assist veterinarians (DVMs) and RVTs with exams, procedures, dentistry, and surgery.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment areas, surgical suites, and equipment.
  • Perform routine diagnostics (lab work, radiology, etc.)
  • Accurately prepare and handle medications as directed.
  • Monitor and record patient vitals, including under anesthesia.
  • Support visiting specialists during advanced procedures (cardiology, endoscopy, surgery).
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.

What We're Looking For:

  • A positive, professional team player who contributes to a respectful workplace culture.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to give constructive feedback appropriately.
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using digital tools (Windows, Gmail, Google Drive; experience with IDEXX Neo is a plus, but we will train).
  • Ability to stay adaptable in a growing and evolving practice.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience (required).
  • Dental and anesthesia monitoring experience preferred.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a growing, privately owned hospital where your voice matters.
  • Work in a modern, well-equipped facility.
  • Gain exposure to advanced procedures and specialty care.
  • Opportunities for skill development and career growth.
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
  • Health, dental, and retirement benefits (401k)
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Employee discounts

This role is ideal for someone who is:

  • Reliable and proactive
  • Team-oriented and people-focused
  • Detail-driven and organized
  • Flexible and able to adapt
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity to grow in veterinary medicine.

If you're excited to be part of a hospital that values quality medicine, teamwork, and continuous growth, we'd love to hear from you.
